Josy trained at Aveda Institute Minneapolis, she graduated in February 2011, and started her career at our partner salon Accolades. Her passion for color, and education showed early on. She has been an integral part of the education program for our salons, and has taught classes for the color line we use. She loves sharing her knowledge and mentoring new stylist’s, as well as staying up to date on her own techniques by taking advanced classes as often as she can. Josy is thoughtful, and intuitive which she believes helps her achieve the perfect look for each guest that sits in her chair. She specializes in blonding and balayage looks. She is known for her seamless and blended and grow outs, low maintenance and lived in colors are her passion. She loves creating a rich brunette, or the perfect shade of red for your skin tone. Josy loves cutting beautiful long layers, or shorter cuts with movement. She specializes in cutting fine hair, giving it life and volume while maintaining fullness, but can take on a thick head of hair as well. Josy has perfected her extension skills and one of her favorite moments is seeing the added confidence an extension service brings to her guests. She is certified in multiple extension methods including sew-in, I-tip and tape ins. Josy believes that your hair is your best accessory, so why not make it fabulous!
Josy is a wife and mom, who enjoys spending time at home working on house projects, cooking, and reading. She lives for a good girls night out with friends. If Josy were to choose a different career, she would be a birth doula or midwife.
