Maya

Maya joined the WOMENS SPA team as a cosmetologist on July 1, 2023, and has quickly become a valued member of the salon. With one year of experience in the beauty industry, Maya has always had a passion for all things beauty-related, and she loves that her career allows her to express her creativity while helping others feel confident. Originally from a small town about an hour south of Minneapolis, Maya was drawn to WOMENS SPA for its all-women vibe and supportive work environment, where she’s had plenty of opportunity to hone her skills, particularly in hair coloring. Her favorite service is creating lived-in blondes, though she enjoys all forms of blonding and loves crafting dimensional looks that grow out beautifully. Maya loves working with clients one-on-one, and she’s excited to continue growing both professionally and personally. Her long-term goal is to own a salon, while her personal goal is to continue stepping out of her shell and growing in every aspect of her life and career. Outside of work, Maya enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, visiting her cabin, shopping, watching reality TV, and cuddling with her kitties. She’s also passionate about playing the cello, interior design, and staying on top of the latest hair and makeup trends. Described as calming, personable, and open-minded, Maya brings a warm and welcoming presence to every client interaction.
